Being a department at an institute of national importance, the department is in close association with major public and private sector undertakings in sponsored research and industrial consultancy. Across the country, the department, through its myriad of activities, on the whole plays a pivotal role in the progress of civil engineering.
The Department of Civil Engineering has well equipped laboratories in the specialized areas. The laboratories are well equipped with all modern equipment’s to cater the needs of UG students as well as consultancy works. Testing facilities related to Civil Engineering is provided in our laboratories to fulfill the need of industries.
