Course Overview

The B.Tech – Artificial Intelligence & Data Science (AI & DS) programme is designed to prepare students for careers in intelligent computing and data-driven technologies. The programme is affiliated to Anna University, Chennai and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).

This undergraduate programme provides a strong foundation in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Data Analytics, Big Data Technologies, and related emerging domains. The curriculum balances theoretical concepts with extensive practical exposure, ensuring that students are equipped to meet current and future industry demands.

The programme is supported by qualified and experienced faculty members with expertise in AI, Data Science, Computer Vision, Natural Language Processing, and advanced computing technologies. Modern laboratories with advanced computing infrastructure and industry-relevant tools enable students to gain hands-on experience and technical proficiency.

Students are encouraged to participate in industrial internships, live projects, workshops, seminars, hackathons, and skill development programmes. With strong emphasis on innovation, research, and placement-oriented training, the programme aims to produce industry-ready graduates capable of pursuing successful careers, higher studies, research, and entrepreneurship.

Qualification for B.Tech Artificial Intelligence & Data Science

• Passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent examination
• Must have studied Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as core subjects
• Secured the minimum aggregate marks as prescribed by AICTE / State Government / University norms
• Admission through Government Counselling / Management Quota as applicable
